The PTA

THE PTA NEEDS YOU!

The PTA is doing a great job in organising and thinking of ideas/ events to help raise money for Temple Herdewyke Primary School. However, we need some more members to join and support us.

If you feel that you are organised, happy to give up some free time now and then for meetings, want to raise more funds for school or you are happy to turn up on the day of an event and just help run a stall, then we would love to have to on board our team.

Please speak to Mrs Godfrey, Miss Taylor or any of the current PTA members: Emma Brain, Debbie Grimsley, Emma Perry, Hannah Willis.

TUCK SHOP-

The PTA have had a meeting about events we can put into place to raise more money for the school.

We have decided to begin a 'Tuck Shop'. This will be placed in the hall, at the end of every other sharing assembly. This is an opportunity for children to bring a little bit of pocket money and spend some money on a treat. As the weather is getting better we will be selling ice-pop alongside chocolate, sweets and crisps. They will all be priced reasonably and we hope to see lots of you at our first Tuck Shop after the sharing assembly on Friday 6th July 2018.

Non-School Uniform Day:

On Friday 6th July 2018 children are able to come in their own clothes.

In order to help with the prizes for our summer fete we are asking each class to bring in some donations.

Reception and Year 1/2- Please bring in smellies

Year 3/4- Please bring in wine

Year 5/6- Please bring in chocolates or biscuits

Sponsorship Event:

The PTA are organising a sponsorship afternoon. In assembly the children have been made aware what is happening.

They have been told that they are able to come up with their own sponsor event, this could be a sponsored run, hop, skip, jump, walk, fun, spell, silence.

The date in which the children will complete this is Friday 13th July, during school hours. The PTA ask that all sponsor forms are given in on this day so that they can be counted.
