In 2015-16 56% of pupils achieved a good level of development.

 

Year 1 - Phonics Screening Test

In 2015-16 90% of pupils achieved the expected standard. compared with 81% nationally.

 

End of Key Stage 1

In 2015-16 children in Year 2 took a new set of tests and these helped to inform teacher assessments.

 

67% of pupils achieved the expected standard in reading, with 40% of pupils achieving greater depth.

50% of pupils achieved the expected standard in writing, with 17% of pupils achieving greater depth.

67% of pupils achieved the expected standard in maths, with 33% of pupils achieving greater depth.

 

End of Key Stage 2  

In 2015-16 pupils took a new set of tests in reading, maths and grammar, punctuation and spelling, alongside teacher assessment for writing.

 

78% achieved the expected standard for reading, compared to 66% nationally. 22% achieved working at a greater depth, compared to 19% nationally. The average scaled score for reading was 105, compared to 103 nationally.

44% achieved the expected standard for writing, compared to 73% nationally. 22% achieved working at a greater depth, compared to 14% nationally.

56% achieved the expected standard for maths, compared to 70% nationally. 11% achieved working at a greater depth, compare to 17% nationally. The average scaled score for maths was 100, compared to 103 nationally.

78% achieved the expected standard in GPS, compared to 72% nationally. 22% achieved working at greater depth, compared to 22% nationally. The average scaled score for GPS was 104, compared with 104 nationally.
